Jim Williams is senior vice president of Logistics for Cox Automotive Inventory Solutions. Based in Gilbert, Arizona, he oversees Manheim’s Ready Logistics and Central Dispatch brands. His proven track record of leading operations and teams through transformation will enable clients to experience new and better ways to transport and sell their vehicles quickly and cost                                                                         effectively.

Williams joined Manheim, a Cox Automotive brand, in 2014 as vice president of Operations Support. For four years he directed teams to successfully prepare for and implement widespread, complex system and process changes, including leading the organization through a $300 million transformation. Before that, Williams was responsible for strategic development with Premium Retail Services and held several senior sales and operations positions with Best Buy.

Giving back to the community, Williams serves as a trustee on the board of directors for Cookies for Kids Cancer, supporting its efforts to help eradicate pediatric cancer. Previously, he attended State University of New York at Stony Brook and is currently pursuing a degree in Organizational Leadership from Penn State University. 

Outside of work Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Leslie and daughter Summer. Jim’s hobbies include boating, snowmobiling, working outdoors as well as attending concerts and sporting events.
