Fredrick Standfield is the interim senior vice president of Assurance and Reconditioning for Cox Automotive Inventory Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for the assurance and reconditioning strategy and execution, leading efforts to deliver innovative end-to-end inventory solutions and a high level of client service that supports dealer success.

An industry veteran with almost two decades of experience in automotive, Standfield joined the Cox family of companies in 1994 and spent his early years working in various business within Cox Enterprises. In 2001, Standfield joined Manheim’s reconditioning business and rose through the ranks working in operations and finance, where he currently leads the Assurance and Reconditioning businesses in the Inventory Solutions division.

Before assuming his current role, Standfield served as the vice president of Assurance, where he led the creation and execution of the organization’s business strategy, maximizing market returns and delivering value-added products and services that infuse more trust, confidence and peace of mind in the wholesale marketplace.  Prior to that role, Standfield served as vice president of operations strategy for Manheim’s field operations as well as vice president of reconditioning operations where he focused on maximizing revenue and profitability in the reconditioning shops within the operating locations.

Standfield’s leadership experience with Cox and Manheim has spanned many disciplines including operations, business development, finance and strategy.   

Standfield graduated cum laude from Birmingham-Southern College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Standfield is a past board member for the Atlanta Empty Stocking Fund
